Drue and Jeremy were married at the absolutely gorgeous venue, The Farm. It was my first time out there, and I am soooo excited that I have another wedding coming up there next month! It was also peak leaf weekend in Asheville…. so Drue and Jeremy couldn’t have picked a more perfect weekend to get married. There were vibrant colors everywhere and I had such a hard time choosing locations! It was also such a perfect day because the weather was just… oh man, nothing short of magnificent. As a wedding photographer, my busy season usually falls during the hot summer months and my associate photographers and I have become accustomed to extreme heat and being practically soaked  ;) Let’s just say this was a pleasant surprise!

Thanks so much to Jenn Hyman with Mirrored Images for helping me capture their day! This was our first time working together and you were absolutely awesome.

Sometimes, in the midst of all the chaos, photographers start to run a little bit dry. That’s when you need to call up a friend and shoot for fun. Shoot for yourself… with no one else to please. And that’s when your creative juices are restored and you come up with the most inspiring images   :)

I know I don’t usually post sneak peeks from engagement sessions…but I was so crazy about these two that I just couldn’t resist!

What is the CliqueIt! Booth? It’s a new twist on a photo booth – a mini portrait studio right off your wedding reception dance floor. All I need from you is a 10′ x 10′ space and we’re good to go! The perfect way to make sure every guest is “properly” captured at your wedding  =) And with all the fun props I bring along, even the most timid of guests have been known to come out of their shells!

Best part about it? The photos are created using the same cameras we take your wedding images with… meaning no tiny, poor quality filmstrip to have to hold onto! The photos from the booth are posted to a private online gallery within one week after the wedding and all images from it will be delivered with the rest of your wedding photos on disc  =)
