Asheville Wedding Photographer | Kasey + Justin

You may remember Kasey + Justin from their lovely engagement session early last year. Ironically enough, July 16th marked their one year wedding anniversary, and I figured if I was still planning to blog their wedding photos, there was probably no better time than now.  And, let’s face it, this wedding deserves to be blogged.  :)

For many reasons Kasey + Justin’s wedding is so near and dear to my heart. Not so long ago (three years, to be exact),  my husband and I were also married at Taylor Ranch. Celebrating Kasey + Justin’s wedding was the first time I’d been back since June 2009. They are wonderful people that make an even more awesome couple. And to be honest, the relationship they have kind of reminds me of my own marriage. With all the likeness going on between us, let’s just say that I probably held my camera a little too close to my face that day.

Kasey + Justin, here’s to one year down and to so many more amazing years spent together. Once again, thank you so much for welcoming me so warmly into your lives and making me feel like family. ♥

Senior Portraits Asheville | Meg

There’s honestly so much to say about sweet Meg that I’m not even sure where to begin. For starters, you may remember seeing her for the first time as the featured senior in my video documentary. Is her personality not contagious/absolutely adorable?! We had so much fun during our first session together that asking her later to be a part of the video was a no-brainer.  ;)

Not to mention, she’s incredibly photogenic — I’m thinking professional modeling should be in her near future. It’s pretty easy to see why… beautiful, tall, big hair, long legs, and she just has this seemingly effortless connection with the camera. Meg, you’re gorgeous! ♥

Meg has such a big heart for animals and this is her horse, Galway, that she’s taken care of since she was a little girl. When Meg whistles for him even from a half mile away, he whimpers and neighs in response until she arrives. It’s really pretty touching to witness the bond between these two.  :)  So glad I could capture these moments for them.  ♥
