I am over the moon excited about my new and improved Senior Model program this year —                   learn about the details and apply below!  ♥

Graduating in 2014? Want senior pictures that are fun, vibrant, and unique just like you? The perks of being a Senior Model are quite amazing this year and along with what’s written above (plus, much, much more –not kidding), for every referral I receive, you’ll receive $25 in cash and another $25 print credit towards your own senior portraits. Pretty sure it doesn’t get any better than that, y’all.   =)

A limited number of candidates are chosen from each local high school so submit your application early. As a member of the Senior Model team, your role will be crucial to the success of this year’s marketing campaign. If chosen you will promote Sarah Rominger Photography to your friends, family, classmates, coworkers, teammates, yearbook staff, homecoming committee, church buddies… you get the picture.  =)

I’m bringing on an intern for the fall season! If you’re interested, read the details below! ♥

POSITION DETAILS:
Starting: Late August 2012
Ending: Late October 2012
Location: My home studio in Fairview, NC (12 minutes from downtown Asheville)
Pay: School credit, unpaid
Hours: Up to 10-15 hours per week, weekdays only

Seeking an intern who wants to experience firsthand the ins and outs of running a successful photography business. Must be a cheerful, nice person who is eager to learn, professional, a problem-solver and very creative.

The ideal candidate will have:
-a passion for photography or similar art field
-good time management
-great organizational skills
-basic understanding of Photoshop/Lightroom (preferred, but not required)
-strong written and oral skills
- a car/driver’s license
-a love for dogs

DUTIES:
*please note, this is not a primarily shooting position*
-some image editing
-ordering supplies
-processing print orders
-file backup
-preparing images for vendors
-creating blog posts
-running occasional errands
-prepping and submitting blog/magazine submissions
-social media management (Sarah Rominger Photography facebook page, twitter)

-You will also have the opportunity to assist and observe at some of my on-location sessions (up to two per month) and weddings (one per month).

COMPENSATION: This internship is an unpaid position, but can be applied toward school credit if applicable. It is designed to allow an aspiring photographer more real world experience and free education. In return, I’ll be offering a creative, fun environment and the acknowledgement that I will be investing a great deal of time and effort developing this intern. The intern will also get some updated headshots of him/herself, if desired.   =)
